EITI publishes half-year report on International Youth Day
EITI has marked the United Nations’ International Youth Day, 12 August, by publishing its half-year report for 2005. The report includes a special preview of EITI’s The Little Book of Languages, a fun and educational resource for children (and adults) of all ages.
International Youth Day was established in 1999 as a way to rally support for youth issues. According to the UN, “A major focus of the day is practical action to further encourage the empowerment and participation of youth in the processes and decisions that affect their lives.”
EITI’s half-year report contains an update on the company’s educational activities, such as its language workshops for schools. It also features a four-page preview of The Little Book of Languages, a book for children (and general interest readers) about languages and the world at large.
The full report, which also includes a review of EITI’s interpreting and translation operations, can be downloaded by clicking on the link below.
